On July 26, 2016, our lives were forever altered when our beloved son Ronnie, affectionately known as "Bubba," was killed in a tragic accident in which he was partially ejected from his car because he was not properly wearing his seatbelt. The responding officer stated that he would be alive today if he had properly worn his seatbelt. Statistics show that 15,000 lives are saved yearly when seatbelts are worn properly.
The Ronnie "Bubba" Robinson Foundation was founded in memory of our son and to bring awareness to young adults about the risk and possible lifelong impact of not properly wearing a seatbelt. Bubba was a college student pursuing his dream of becoming an Emergency Medical Technician. He was intelligent, a hard worker and had a smile that would light up any room.
Although our son will never accomplish his dreams, if we can educated young adults about the benefits of wearing a seatbelt, we could possibly save their lives and our sons' death would not be in vain.
Bubba was loved by many and will be forever missed.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story
